Minnie's passion drives her financial future, writes Tao Lin.
Minnie Baragwanath put financial stability on the line when she left her full-time job and started social change agency Be. Accessible in 2011.
That risk has paid off as she has rapidly built up a network of individuals and organisations committed to helping New Zealand become the most accessible nation in the world and to change frameworks and conversations around people living with disabilities.
Being partially blind herself, Baragwanath has defied all statistics and stereotypes about what people with disabilities can and can not do.
